Wisconsin's peninsula in late October, inland and off the water. Cherry orchards pruned back, red gambrel barns, harvested hay fields and county roads under sugar maples in full rust. Oat, cream, chambray, loden and tan against limestone and cedar — the scene that rewards a knit you can wear three days running.
